Power – The larger portable units require 208v/230v, single or 3 phase power and higher amperage service. Consideration of the existence, source and location of this power
is necessary to be able to power up the unit. Your building electrician should be able to tell you what power sources are available.
Hot air exhaust – These units have a hot air exhaust flex duct that needs to be connected to either existing return or exhaust air duct to reject it outside the space to be cooled.
A window can also be utilized to accomplish this.
Access – Although these units are on wheels and can be easily rolled into place they are heavy. If the location for the unit is up any stairs it maybe necessary to have a mover to
place the unit.
